4 May 2022

Ogilvy, GroupM and The Cocktail (part of Wunderman Thompson) have been named among the Best Companies to Work For in Spain by Forbes, with GroupM and Ogilvy appearing on the list of best employers for the second year in a row.

The prestigious Forbes annual shortlist of just 75 workplaces is compiled through an in-depth survey, analysing employee feedback from more than 1,500 large companies across multiple industries. Forbes ranks companies on detailed criteria falling under five central pillars: commitment to diversity and inclusion; support of hybrid working models; opportunities for internal career growth and promotion; competitive reward and compensation schemes; as well as practices and policies relating to improved work-life balance.

Jennifer Remling, Chief People Officer, WPP says: “Our people, across the organisation and around the world, are always our top priority. They make WPP the creative transformation company. We’re excited that the team’s efforts to create a culture where our people can thrive has been recognized in this shortlist.”

Javier Vidaurreta, Country People Lead of WPP in Spain says: “We are extremely proud that WPP companies have once again been recognised by the Forbes ranking as some of the best workplaces in Spain. It reflects our ongoing commitment to nurturing workplaces where people can fulfil their potential no matter their background, grow inspiring careers where they are empowered to manage a healthy work-life balance, all while being part of an industry-leading company with global reach and impact.”

This latest recognition follows the news that WPP in Spain has become the first communications group in the country to be certified as a Family-Responsible Company (efr) by the MásFamilia Foundation and the Spanish Ministry of Industry, endorsing 15 WPP companies that support work-life balance, personal wellbeing and the professional development of their people.
