Mark Read, Wunderman’s and WPP Digital's global CEO, will visit Brazil to introduce the new leadership and announce changes in the organizational structure, including management of Pmweb and KBM

Reiss is stepping away from the co-presidency of F.biz, a WPP Group agency, to become Wunderman CEO as of this week.

SÃO PAULO  — After eleven highly successful years at the head of F.biz, Pedro Reiss takes the leadership of the Brazilian operations of Wunderman, the largest network of digital agencies in the world, also a part of WPP Group. As Wunderman Brasil CEO, the executive will report directly to Juan Pablo Jurado, regional executive director for Latin America. Among the challenges that await him are integrating the operations of Pmweb and KBM into the agency, and assessing new acquisitions aimed at strengthening the agency’s portfolio and bolstering its consulting and innovation DNA.

Pedro Reiss is one of the leaders responsible for making F.biz one of the most creative and innovative advertising agencies in Brazil. We will now leverage his talent and in-depth technical know-how to help strengthen Wunderman’s leadership in the country’s digital markets, bringing together creative excellence and plenty of technology, data and e-commerce”, says Mark Read Wunderman’s and WPP’s Global CEO.  Under Mark’s leadership, Wunderman became one of the largest digital strongholds in the world. The network currently has operations in 60 countries and boasts annual revenue of over US$ 1 billion.

With the arrival of Pedro Reiss, executives Paulo Sanna (COO) and Caio Bamberg (COO), who shared provisional leadership of the agency for three months, as well as Cris Duclos, VP of Strategy and Business Development, will comprise the Board of the Brazilian operations.  "Paulo and Caio did a wonderful job in these last few months and now, with the arrival of Pedro, the team is complete," said Marcos Quintela, president of Newcomm Group, Wunderman’s holding company in Brazil.

In Brazil, Pedro will also monitor the operations of Wunderman’s recent acquisitions: Brazilian agency Pmweb, founded by current CEO, Tárik Potthoff, and market leader in optimizing and managing multichannel campaigns supported by a database of over 200 million consumers; and KBM, which focuses on data management and is headed by Luiz Machado in Brazil. The companies will continue to operate independently, but will share expertise and tools in order to enhance their offers to clients and excellence in delivery at all stages. "With Pedro's arrival we are going to make better use of the competencies we have in the group, continue investing in creative excellence and strengthen our relationships with important partners like Google, Facebook and technology companies," concluded Juan Pablo Jurado.

"Wunderman combines an amazing legacy with a very modern value proposition.  'Creatively driven, data inspired' is the credo under which we will bring something truly innovative to the market and grow Wunderman's business," added Pedro Reiss.

An 18-year veteran in the digital and mobile markets, Pedro started his career in the year 2000 as an intern at website Fulano.com, which created F.biz in 2001, initially as a business division. Three years and several promotions later, he left his role as the Director of Operations at F.biz to work at the e-business department at Multibrás (now Whirlpool) and then moved to direct marketing agency Datamidia,FCBi. In 2006 he returned to F.biz as a full partner. Since then, he has participated actively in transforming the website division into one of the most successful agencies in Brazil, a process that lead to its acquisition by British group WPP in 2011.

With a degree in business administration from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV), and specialization courses at Singularity University, Pedro became Co-President of the agency in 2013.  Last year he also led the creation of a new company, Marketing Tech, which focuses exclusively in marketing technology projects.  Throughout 18 years of operations, F.biz has amassed several success stories and both domestic and international prizes, such as the Effie Award and at the Cannes Festival. It has also joined the competitive ranking of the “100 best companies to work for in Brazil”, from Great Place to Work, and is currently considered one of the most attractive employers in Brazil, according to a study by Scopen.
