Apologies given to WPP

21 Feb 2011

Actions against three individuals taken by The Brand Union/Everystone in the High Court have been compromised. The following apologies have been made as part of the settlement of those actions. Actions continue against other parties.

This statement is made by David Blyth following settlement of the proceedings commenced by The Brand Union / Everystone in the High Court in London:

The terms of the settlement are confidential but this statement is given to apologise unreservedly for my actions. I overstepped the mark in setting up The Great Game and dealing with clients whilst a senior employee of Everystone. I am aware that my actions amounted to breach of my contractual obligations and that I misused WPP’s property and proprietary information.
I acknowledge that WPP and Everystone are entitled to protect their business interests.
With this settlement and apology, I look forward to putting the matter behind me.
