Design Bridge: Beauty Banks #HELLYESNHS

Joining (virtual) hands with the NHS to supply frontline key workers with much-needed products

Design Bridge and Beauty Banks – a people-powered movement similar to food banks but with personal care products and toiletries – launched their new campaign: #HELLYESNHS.

After raising over £93,000 in two weeks for their #HELPINGHANDS campaign to supply personal care essentials to vulnerable people in the UK during the COVID-19 outbreak, Beauty Banks has now joined (virtual) hands with the NHS to supply frontline key workers with much-needed products.

To support this initiative, Design Bridge came up with a series of bold campaign messages and created a set of static and animated visual assets for Beauty Banks to help spread the word, encouraging people and brands to take action.

Meaningful details are woven into the designs. For example, a coin with a heart-shaped ‘£’ sign reflects that every donation – no matter how big or small – really counts, while activist-inspired boards have been animated to the chant of “Hell yes, NHS”.
