WPP tops 2022 Global Effie Index

  • WPP is named the most effective communications company in the world
  • Ogilvy places first in the most effective agency network rankings

Ogilvy was named number one in the rankings as Most Effective Agency Network of the year. The WPP agency network earned five Grand Effies in 2022 for work including Bride Armour by Ogilvy South Africa for AB InBev’s Carling Black Label and Crazy Thursday by Ogilvy China for KFC. WPP agencies Grey Group and EssenceMediacom also performed strongly, receiving five and two Grand Effies respectively for their creative work.

The 2022 Effie Index rankings reflect the performance of more than 4,300 finalists and winning entries from eligible global, regional and national Effie Awards competitions held around the world from 1 January 2022 to 31 December 2022.
