Panos Tzivanidis, former IOC and UEFA executive, will serve as CEO; Maureen Mitchell named Chief of Staff

NEW YORK — In a move aimed at accelerating growth and expanding its core business of supporting governments, corporations, and institutions worldwide, Richard Attias & Associates (RA&A) has reinforced its leadership team with the appointment of two key executives to newly created positions. Panos Tzivanidis, the former Director of Events for the International Olympic Committee (IOC), will serve as CEO while Maureen Mitchell, the former Director of Scheduling and Operations for the Office of House Speaker Paul D. Ryan, will serve as Chief of Staff. Richard Attias, who founded RA&A in 2009, will continue to serve as its Executive Chairman.

RA&A is a global advisory firm that develops communications strategies, conferences, and live public events for governments, corporations, and institutions including the Bloomberg Philanthropies, the Public Investment Fund, the Misk Foundation, the International Olympic Committee, and the World Bank. According to Attias, RA&A’s new leadership team will enable the firm to further expand its global footprint and implement even higher-impact initiatives and live events for its clients in the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia.
