Making ecosystem health visible – and investable

Forest Carbon, a leader in ecosystem restoration, faced the challenge of scaling its nature-based solutions in a complex and often controversial sector. The commodification of carbon credits had reduced the value of nature to numbers, making it harder to inspire investor partnerships or communicate the tangible impact of their work. They needed to show that forests are worth more standing – and to demonstrate the measurable vitality of healthy ecosystems.
In partnership with Design Bridge and Partners, Forest Carbon launched In Tune with Nature – a brand identity built on the science of bioacoustics and Chladni figures. By recording the soundscapes of their restoration sites and developing a custom digital tool, the team translated the unique frequencies of species – from the Bornean Orangutan to the Sumatran Tiger – into dynamic, living visual patterns.
This sonic-led approach, paired with an aesthetic inspired by scientific journals, transformed the sounds of the forest into a credible and emotionally resonant visual language. It gave nature a voice – and made its health visible.
The identity cut through the “sea of green logos” with a system that pulsed with the vitality of biodiversity. It turned abstract environmental data into a tangible narrative, reinforcing Forest Carbon’s scientific rigour and on-the-ground expertise.
The campaign not only captured the transformation of degraded wetlands into thriving ecosystems, but also helped Forest Carbon attract large-scale capital by demonstrating the real, measurable value of nature – inspiring investor partnerships for a sustainable future.
