Agency of the Year, 2 Grand Effie, Gold, Silver and Bronze: A 2017 full of shine

Effie Awards has celebrated Y&R’s work in Latin America.

In its 2017 edition, the festival created by the American Marketing Association in New York to distinguish effective advertising, emphatically recognized our agency throughout the region.

Y&R Chile, Perú, Brasil, Uruguay, Argentina and Mexico have picked up a total of 7 Gold Effie Awards, 10 Silver and 11 Bronze, for their work for clients such as Telefónica - Movistar, Danone, Arcor, Bimbo, Backus, Unimarc, BIC, Ministerio de Turismo de Uruguay, Banco de Chile, Alto Palermo Shopping, Diario Olé, Grupo Petrópolis, Banco de Seguros del Estado and Special Olympics.

Amongst so much success, Chile’s performance stands out where, in addition to obtaining  nine statuettes, it was recognized as "Agency of the Year"; while our regional client Movistar was named "Announcer of the Year", collecting two gold Effies in the categories "Sustained success" and "Launches", plus three more silver in the categories "Engagement - Loyalty", "Institutional - Corporate "and" Products ".

A special mention, on the other hand, goes to Peru and Brazil that, apart from other mentions, obtained the Grand Effie Award: in the first instance for their “De vuelta al barrio” campaign for Backus and secondly, for “BIC lapis preto: o segredo” for BIC.
