Strategic partnerships

Our strategic partnerships with the world’s leading technology companies allow us to access exclusive benefits, develop joint products and deliver go-to-market initiatives for the benefit of our clients.

We recognise the critical importance of partners in the marketing ecosystem. That’s why we were the first agency network to establish a dedicated Strategic Partnerships function, and today we have the most developed and differentiated partnerships in the industry, with over 30 agreements to date, covering everything from adtech, martech, Cloud and AI to data, media commerce, production and more.

We use the scale of WPP to unlock exclusive benefits from partners that bring value and benefit for our clients.

Our approach to partnerships

While every partnership agreement is uniquely tailored, our approach is the same: to unlock the most valuable benefits and resources for our clients.

Our major partnerships are accessible via any WPP agency and cover the following areas:

Joint go-to-market

We shape the industry with our largest partners by developing shared research and joint go-to-market initiatives, many of which are created or customised for clients.

Joint product development

We drive conversations, create solutions and lead projects with our largest partners to co-develop exclusive products for the benefit of joint clients.

Preferential access

We create additional competitive advantage for our clients through preferential and early access to the latest advances and tools.

Globally scaled enablement

We train and develop our people to help them achieve advanced levels of certifications across partner technologies. WPP is the beta/pilot company for many certification and enablement partner programmes, helping to shape curricula that set the standard across the industry.
