Commitment to progress

We are continuously working to improve our workplace culture through various initiatives that reflect our values and support our people. We want WPP to be a place where all voices are heard and every person feels they belong.

To do this, we:

  • Invest in our people: We are committed to developing our people through initiatives like the Future Readiness Academies and our Inclusion as a Skill programme, which provide opportunities for learning and growth, with a focus on leadership development and inclusive practices. These programmes ensure that our colleagues are equipped with the skills needed to excel in a diverse and dynamic workplace.
  • Promote diversity and equity: We aim to build a workforce that reflects the diverse communities we serve. This includes actively promoting gender balance and racial equity across all levels of the organisation. We are proud to have increased the representation of women in executive leadership roles and are continuously working to create opportunities for underrepresented groups.
  • Create inclusive work environments: We are dedicated to building inclusive workplaces where everyone feels they belong. This involves fostering a culture of respect, collaboration, and innovation, supported by our state-of-the-art campuses that are designed to bring people together. We believe that by creating spaces where everyone can thrive, we unlock the full potential of our people and our business.

Inclusion Council

Our Inclusion Council was established to help accelerate change throughout WPP. The members of the Council have been chosen to represent the world in which we live and to reflect the breadth of our global organisation. Their role is to give a voice to underrepresented groups at the highest level of WPP; recommend programmes, policies and initiatives that will help create more inclusive and diverse workplaces; provide input on leadership succession; remove barriers to progress; and assist in setting aspirational targets for elevating underrepresented talent.
