Sudler raising the bar at Cannes Lions Health and beyond
18 June, 2015
— Rob Rogers, Co-CEO Sudler and Lions Health Jury President, said, “I look forward to rewarding solutions that are different, worthwhile, and fearless. This is one of my great expectations for this year’s Lions Health. Within the constraints and complexities of our industry, we can create compelling narratives that build upon the emotions implicit within each story of disease and wellness.”
Narratives and storytelling is something that Chris Duffey, Group Creative Director at Sudler, will also be exploring as he hosts a discussion with Kim Kardashian West and Niccolo de Masi, Glu Chairman and CEO, during Cannes Lions. Glu and Kim Kardashian West have pioneered a new form of digital storytelling that can extend and inspire any brand presence in the new media landscape. Ultimately, Kim Kardashian: Hollywood, is a one-of-a-kind platform that generates authentic audience connections via intertwining the virtual world with the real world.
According to Louisa Holland, Co-CEO the Americas, “In the midst of evolving market dynamics, Sudler recognizes the importance for marketers to embrace very disparate brand challenges, and create compelling creative work by telling a dynamic story in a meaningful way. We understand how to make all those connections, creating great brand solutions for our clients.”
But telling the healthcare story needs more than just a good narrative, Examining how data and statistics are relevant to the development of telling the healthcare story will be Amy Duda, EVP, Director of Strategic Planning at Sudler. On June 19, Amy will be joined by Jonathan Richman, founder of DOSE, to discuss “Lies, Damned Lies & Statistics,” as more patients turn inward toward their quantifiable behaviors, with health apps and wearable technology.
Rob Rogers added, “At Sudler, we continue to raise the bar and shake up our clients’ expectations. With talent like Jay Coombes and Catherine Mohan, two young writers in our London office who have been recognized at the Young Lions Health Award competition, and seasoned leaders like Chris Duffey and Amy Duda, we’ll continue to innovate and create compelling and unique ways to communicate our clients’ messages.”
Lions Health is a global annual awards event recognizing creative excellence in two categories: Pharma and Health & Wellness communications; judging is by international industry professionals, and the awards celebrate only the very best.
