Salmon China appoint Tony Chen as new Chief Executive Officer

Global commerce service provider, Salmon, today announced that Tony Chen has been appointed as Salmon China’s new Chief Executive Officer.

Tony joins the company to help grow Salmon’s business, extend Salmon’s global delivery capability, and break into new sectors in China. Tony’s focus will be to help leading brands in China deliver their digital dreams, building and integrating business led systems and complex commerce based projects. Tony will oversee a team of 65 employees.

Tony said: “Salmon have developed ecommerce solutions for world leading brands including Argos, Audi and Game and I look forward to replicating this success in China, helping brands to launch their own B2B and B2C ecommerce sites and manage the big data that comes with this.”

Tony joins Salmon from Concortech Technologies Co. Ltd, where he held the position of CEO for over five years. Tony has held senior positions for multinational corporations and high-tech IPO companies in APAC for over 15 years and has been Deputy Secretary General at China Telecom Group Besttone Alliance and Standing Director at Beijing Young Entrepreneurs’ Association.
