Lightspeed GMI celebrates three MRS awards

Celebrating research’s ability to inspire change and deliver results, the 2015 Market Research Society (MRS) Awards
recognized Lightspeed GMI’s industry leading innovation and distinguished client work.
Receiving the Grand Prix for Greatest Impact and MRS Award for Advertising & Media Research, Lightspeed GMI and BBC Worldwide were celebrated for Tackling the Elephant: How Innovation Helped BBC Worldwide Master Emotion. Thanks to the psychology support and implementation of leading emotion intelligence platform CrowdEmotion, the paper travels the globe and covers many different cultures, but the results are the same: researchers now require emotional data and cannot just rely on survey-based data alone. By integrating CrowdEmotion’s innovative emotion intelligence platform to test a groundbreaking approach to content testing, the paper shows how we were able to analyze and quantify the emotions, behind the usual survey opinions. In fact, turning emotion into “science.”
Lightspeed GMI and TNS UK were awarded MRS/BIG Award for Business-to-Business Research for It’s Not Business, It’s Personal: the Power of Personal Engagement. In addition, Lightspeed GMI was highly commended in the Research-live Award for Best Innovation category.
