OgilvyOne acquires dnx to create UK's largest dedicated B2B agency

New Company OgilvyOne dnx Merges in Ogilvy Primary Contact
— OgilvyOne’s B2B business, Ogilvy Primary Contact and dnx have joined forces to create OgilvyOne dnx, the UK's largest dedicated B2B agency. The new agency will present clients with enhanced capability in the B2B market and access to a global network. OgilvyOne and dnx are both highly awarded in the B2B category1
, with all three agencies enjoying significant growth over the last four years. OgilvyOne dnx will provide specialist support for this growing sector.
The new business boasts a 180 strong team and will be led by Drew Nicholson, former CEO of dnx, who will assume the role of CEO, OgilvyOne dnx and will report in to Sam Williams-Thomas, CEO, OgilvyOne2
. Clare Lawson, Head of B2B, OgilvyOne and Domi Pettifar, Managing Director, dnx, will become joint Managing Directors of the new agency. They will work alongside Gareth Richards, Managing Director of Ogilvy Primary Contact, who will become Managing Partner. James Myers, Head of Planning, OgilvyOne will be responsible for strategic services at OgilvyOne dnx and Darren Bolton, Executive Creative Director, dnx, will hold the same role at the new agency.
Williams-Thomas commented; “Our ambition is to continue to lead the B2B category. The move allows us to broaden our scale and expertise in this area with a genuinely creative offer.”

OgilvyOne dnx staff will remain in their current locations and the former dnx offices in Guildford will be retained.
