Lightspeed appoints David Bilicic to Vice President, Business Development

Market Research Industry Veteran to Drive Lightspeed’s Growth Strategy and Broaden Client Relationships
— Lightspeed, a globally integrated research organization, announced the appointment of David Bilicic as Vice President of Business Development, effective immediately. He will report to David Shanker, Chief Executive Officer, The Americas. Based in Philadelphia, Bilicic will be responsible for expanding client development efforts for Lightspeed GMI and Lightspeed All Global throughout the Americas Region.

Prior to joining Lightspeed GMI, Bilicic served as Senior Vice President of GfK. In this role he was responsible for working with global clients across various sectors to help develop their growth strategies. He also served as Senior Vice President of Research Now and IRI, respectively. Earlier in his career, Bilicic spent several years on the client side including six years at Abbott Labs. His functional expertise includes business planning, trade marketing, sales operations, brand management and new product development. Bilicic holds his BS in Human Resources and Organizational Development from Vanderbilt University and an MBA at The Ohio State University.
