Tolga Büyükdoğanay's arrival opens a new era at Ogilvy & Mather Istanbul

–– One of the rising young talents of the advertising world, Tolga Büyükdoğanay will continue his professional carrier, which he has been successfully building for a decade across Europe, at Ogilvy & Mather İstanbul as Executive Creative Director.
Country Head Aytül Özkan said that Tolga Büyükdoğanay’s arrival to İstanbul from the Ogilvy & Mather Frankfurt office marked the beginning of a new era that would strengthen them even further as an agency.
Ogilvy & Mather Istanbul experiences the excitement of having a talent, who proved himself in the international arena. Tolga Büyükdoğanay, who had been most recently serving at Ogilvy & Mather Frankfurt after a decade in his career across Europe, was appointed to Ogilvy & Mather Istanbul as Executive Creative Director as of 1 November 2013.
Noting that Tolga Büyükdoğanay’s joining in the ranks of Ogilvy & Mather Istanbul marked the beginning of a new era, Aytül Özkan continued:

After completing his graphics design education, Tolga Büyükdoğanay worked at Publicis and McCann Erickson agencies as Art Director. He went to Vienna to take up a job offer from Redcell, before returning back to İstanbul for a brief period to work at Ajans Ultra. He then returned back to Vienna and started working at DraftFCB. A year later, the agency climbed to the top of the Austrian creative agencies ranking. During this time, a campaign by Tolga Büyükdoğanay was published in The Gunn Report and many others in Shots, Campaign, Adage, Creativity Magazine, and Lürzer’s Archive magazines. Having received more than 100 national and international awards, Tolga Büyükdoğanay has served in the CCA Austria, ADC Germany, Golden Drum, Adstars Asia, ZMG Germany, Das Plakat Germany, Adrenaline Lithuania, and Crystal Apple juries. Büyükdoğanay has been teaching “Public Communication” to graduate students at the University of Vienna since 2010.
