Y&R Beijing appoints Jeff Leong as client services director

— Charles Sampson, chief executive officer Y&R China, has announced the appointment of Jeff Leong as client services director Y&R Beijing.
With over 13 years of experience, Jeff Leong joined the advertising industry as a fresh Business and Marketing graduate from Malaysia’s HELP Institute. Having started out as an Account Executive, Leong has worked his way up to his new role as Client Services Director.
Leong has worked on mostly regional and global account, on brands ranging from Nokia, Dell, and Avon, to P&G, Reckitt Benckiser, and Nestlé, with a good grasp of the communications industry’s many facets. With a strong knowledge of key markets including China, Malaysia, Singapore, South Korea, India, Indonesia, Thailand, Japan, Taiwan, Philippines, ANZ, Middle East, Africa & LATAM, Leong strong believes to “never be afraid to toil the midnight oil while others are sleeping.”

Before joining Y&R, Jeff Leong was business director at Soho Square Shanghai, working on the Avon regional business focussing on key markets China, India, Taiwan, Philippines, Malaysia & ANZ. Leong also previously worked on Dell at Enfatico, on the Huawei account, and on projects for Lenovo via OgilvyOne Beijing. Prior to that, Leong was global group account director on Nokia at Bates 141 China.
