MEC aligns EMEA Headquarters and Global Solutions

MEC,, has aligned its EMEA headquarters and Global Solutions, to further strengthen the unique combination of its global strategic planning capabilities and local market operations in the region. The move follows the arrival of Alex Altman as Global Solutions MD earlier this year and sees the business bolster its impressive leadership team with a raft of key new appointments.

The new team will oversee the integration of Global Solutions and EMEA to cement and grow MEC’s position as The Centre of International Excellence and will focus on supporting the growth and development of multinational clients underpinned by expert local market knowledge as well as the worldwide MEC network.

James Northway joins as Head of Analytics and Insight for Global Solutions and EMEA. James joins from Mediabrands, where he was Regional Managing Director and brings with him a wealth of experience in data analytics.

Jeff Hyams takes on the newly created role of Chief Digital Officer, Global Solutions and EMEA and will be the single digital lead in the region; a seasoned international digital practioner he brings a wealth of knowledge to the role.

Stuart Sullivan-Martin will become Chief Strategy Officer, Global Solutions and EMEA. As one of MEC’s most experienced and awarded strategists Stuart will lead the Strategy Practice across the EMEA region. Stuart previously held the role of Chief Strategy Officer, MEC UK.

And continuing to strengthen the team under Stuart which includes Shula Sinclair who joined MEC in the summer, Andy Reynolds joins as Strategy Partner, from OMD where he worked on brands such as Sony and Google.

Allison Coley has been promoted to Client President to lead the client services team in its constant drive to deliver the best quality of work and level of service. Additionally Mike Cuva has been promoted to Managing Partner and will join the leadership team.
