Pierre Conte named CEO of GroupM France

Agency Veteran Takes Helm From Bruno Kemoun and Eryck Rebbouh
— GroupM, the leading global media investment management operation, today named Pierre Conte as its new CEO of GroupM France.
The announcement was made by GroupM EMEA CEO Dominic Grainger, who said Conte will report to him and will begin his new role on September 16.

Conte succeeds Bruno Kemoun and Eryck Rebbouh, who developed GroupM in France over the past two years and will continue to support and advise GroupM and its agencies in the future as consultants.
Conte comes to GroupM with more than 25 years of experience in media and advertising. Most recently he served as CEO of Figaro Media and Figaro Classifieds as well as Director of Madame Figaro, responsible for advertising sales of Groupe Figaro. He also oversaw digital development of Groupe Figaro for eight years. Prior to joining Groupe Figaro, Conte was CEO of OMD France from 2002-2005.
As CEO of GroupM France, Conte will oversee one of the leading media investment management operations in France. GroupM France has five media agencies: KR Media, Maxus, MEC, MediaCom and Mindshare with nearly 600 employees and 2012 billings of Euro 2.3 billion, according to RECMA.
