Quisma opens for business in Istanbul

Oya Öneş Yaşayan to head up Turkish office and becomes Quisma’s fifth female Managing DirectorTURKEY
– QUISMA, the European network for online performance marketing, opens its twelfth European office in Istanbul today, increasing its presence in ten European countries.
QUISMA has appointed Oya Öneş Yaşayan as managing director of QUISMA Turkey. Oya will be responsible for operational management at the subsidiary and cooperation with the other GroupM agencies.
Oya becomes the fifth female manager at QUISMA, joining Ellie Edwards-Scott (UK), Ilaria Zampori (Italy), Nathalie Pottier (France) and Magdalena Mulenga (Poland). Oya is a graduate business economist, who brings 15 years of online marketing experience to her new role. She comes to QUISMA from Universal McCann where as managing partner she oversaw the digital communication for Coca-Cola, Microsoft, Vodafone, PepsiCo, Renault, Intel, Mercedes, Volkswagen and McDonald’s. Prior to McCann she held roles at Ericsson, DDB and OMD. Her career began at idefix.com, Turkey’s largest online bookseller. Oya Öneş Yaşayan said, “My strategy is to build a powerful team quickly and to convince customers and GroupM partner agencies of the benefits of performance marketing in general and QUISMA’s unique services in particular”.
The 39-year-old was a member of the IAB Turkey board, where she chaired the Technical Committee for four-and-a-half years. She has been on the IAB Europe Mobile Advertising Committee since 2010. Oya Öneş Yaşayan is also a sought-after writer and columnist on diverse digital marketing media in Turkey.
