5 November, 2012
The advertising agency led by Álvaro Moré, received from the Ministry of Industry, Ernesto Kreimerman, and the President, José Mujica, the National Quality Award 2012 in the category Large Company of Service.
"We share this award with our customers, who are the ones demanding from us and helping us to keep aiming for quality and continuous improvement," said Moré. This is the second time that Young & Rubicam receives this recognition: in 2008 it was participating in the category of Small companies. This time the challenge was harder, upon entering the category of Large Company of Service.
The award ceremony was held on the night of October 31st in a room full of participating companies. The areas in which the agency was evaluated were eight: Leadership of Senior Management, Strategic Planning, People Development, Focus on external customer, Information and Analysis, Process Management, Impact on Society and Environment, and Results.
Young & Rubicam is the only advertising agency ISO 9001:2008 certified, and the only one receiving the National Quality Award. It has also been, for 7 years, one of the best places to work in Uruguay, according to the annual ranking held by Great Place To Work. "Our commitment is to continue to doing our work with a focus on quality service, provided by a team of professionals proud to be part of Young & Rubicam," continued Moré.
Also, the agency is the most recommended one by advertisers, for the third consecutive year, according to annual surveys carried out by the consultant Equipos Mori, the same study that chose Álvaro Moré as the best Agency’s Managing Director for the past four consecutive years. "We work on continuous improvement, not only in creativity, being the most awarded agency in the Campana de Oro (Uruguay’s most important creative festival) for the last three consecutive years, but in all that relates to work processes to offer the best service to our customers," Moré ended.
The National Quality Award is an annual recognition that Uruguay has for public and private organizations that stand in implementing the Continuous Improvement Model. The award was established by Decree No. 648/992, on December 23rd, 1992 in order to recognize organizations that excel in the implementation of quality processes, through Total Quality Management and are considered good examples to other institutions and society as a whole.
