The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands’ regional first from Y&R Singapore

SINGAPORE — Asia’s premier shopping destination, The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands, has launched an exciting new Wishlist window-shopping app developed by Y&R Singapore.

Launching Friday 25 May, My Great Singapore Sale Wishlist Facebook app enables users to browse products and services from over 70 retailers at The Shoppes and create their own personalised moodboard of preferred purchases. Coinciding with the Great Singapore Sale, users can also see the savings afforded during GSS month with recommended retail price and sale price both displayed on the app interface.

This is the first time that the moodboard concept, popularised by U.S. sites such as Polyvore and Bergdorf Goodman, has been launched in Singapore - and the region.
Selected amongst Time Magazine’s list of 50 best websites for 2011, Polyvore is a fashion social-commerce website that allows users to assemble sets of clothing from the website's database of items.

The Shoppes’ app moodboard is put to good effect with a weekly competition in which entrants stand to win up to S$500 worth of merchandise of their choice . The concept is simple. Having assembled their ‘wish-list’ of goods from over 70 participating retailers, users then get friends to vote for their creations. The moodboard with the most number of “likes” in a week wins its wish-list.
