Top creative directors in Beijing & Shanghai convene at Ogilvy for Portfolio 10

43 Senior Creatives from 19 Agencies Took Part in the China Portfolio Review Events
O&M Offers 9 Paid Internships on the Spot

Last night Ogilvy & Mather hosted ihaveanidea’s annual Portfolio Night review in mainland China for the third time – this time in both Beijing and Shanghai. Happening in 18 cities worldwide, the China events were the first to kick off Portfolio Night 10.
Forty-three of the two cities’ top creative directors from a number of the world’s best agencies including O&M, Saatchi & Saatchi, JWT and BBDO, among others, gathered to meet with more than 140 students and aspiring creative hopefuls to offer them portfolio critiques, professional advice and recruitment opportunities. Each candidate that attended the simultaneous events received 45 minutes of undivided attention from three senior creatives.
At the conclusion of the event, O&M China offered nine paid internships on the spot to participants at the Beijing and Shanghai events. The new interns will work in O&M’s creative departments.
“There was such a high level of energy at both the Beijing and Shanghai events,” said O&M China Chief Creative Officer Graham Fink. “Portfolio Night is truly unique in that it aligns ad agencies with schools to better train young talent, which is a duty that every good ad agency should bear.”
