— Burson-Marsteller, a leading global public relations and communications firm, announced today that it has been selected by Tommy Bahama, a lifestyle company focused on sophisticated men’s and women’s apparel, accessories, home furnishings, and unique restaurant experiences, to serve as the brand’s international agency of record. As Tommy Bahama sets out to expand internationally, Burson-Marsteller will be working closely with the client to drive brand awareness as it enters several markets in Asia in 2012 and 2013. The account will be led by Los Angeles Market Leader Rhonda Brauer.
“Our team is professionally and personally enthusiastic to be working with Tommy Bahama and its experienced leadership team, as we are already big fans and customers,” said Brauer. “As Tommy Bahama expands its presence in Asia, we look forward to building and defining the brand for consumers who will embrace the Tommy Bahama lifestyle and state-of-mind: making life one long weekend.”
