Klaus Nadler named CEO of GroupM Switzerland

— Klaus Nadler, a highly respected and well-known media executive with extensive experience in digital communications, today was named CEO of GroupM Switzerland.
The announcement was made by Dominic Grainger, CEO of GroupM Europe Middle East and Africa, who added that Nadler’s appointment is effective immediately.
“We’re delighted that Klaus will be leading GroupM Switzerland,” Grainger said in making the announcement. “With his digital experience, he is ideally placed to help us continue to develop new opportunities and value in the media environment for our agencies and their clients.”
Nadler, 44, succeeds Peter Lammerhuber, who held the CEO role on an interim basis. Lammerhuber will continue to oversee GroupM Switzerland as well as being CEO of GroupM Austria.
Nadler joins GroupM from IP Germany, where he has served as Director of Operations since 2009. In that role he was responsible for the creation and development of the company’s digital operations as well as the marketing of digital media within the Mediagroup RTL Germany. He also handled digital marketing on external websites as well as the co-marketing of various online offers.
In January 2011, Klaus was appointed to the board of the AGOF (a trade association dedicated to developing online research), where he also served as Vice Chairman of the group’s internet department. His responsibilities included examining the impact of digitalization on all media and assessing digital advertising opportunities.
