Susan Field named “Business Leader of the Year”

Leading travel industry organization recognizes Field at ‘Celebrating Women in Business’ awards HONG KONG
— Cohn & Wolfe-impactasia CEO, Susan Field, was named “Business Leader of the Year” at SKAL International Hong Kong’s “Celebrating Women in Business” awards last week. The annual awards recognize and celebrate leading female talent in the travel industry. SKAL is the world’s leading professional travel organization for senior industry executives and is dedicated to promoting the global tourism industry.
Field was selected for her commitment to mentoring and coaching young professionals, in addition to her entrepreneurial skills in founding and building impactasia
. In November 2011, impactasia
was acquired by global communications agency Cohn & Wolfe to form Cohn & Wolfe-impactasia, now one of China’s leading agencies with over 80 employees in three offices in Hong Kong, Shanghai and Beijing.
Field said, “It’s an honour to have been chosen by my peers for this award and it is an achievement I am incredibly proud of. I hope it inspires other young women, in whatever industry they choose, to reach for the stars. All it takes, from my own experience, is a huge amount of determination, passion and very hard work to be successful in business.”
