Lauren Crampsie to be new Worldwide Chief Marketing Officer, Ogilvy & Mather

Miles Young, Worldwide CEO of Ogilvy & Mather announced today that Lauren Crampsie, 31, will assume the role of Worldwide Chief Marketing Officer for Ogilvy & Mather’s global operations. She replaces Eleanor Mascheroni who has left the agency to join a company in Detroit.
Miles commented: “Lauren is someone with phenomenal energy and great skills. She’ll be a tremendous spokesperson for the vigor of our brand in the new landscape of communications”.
In her new role, Lauren will be responsible for Ogilvy’s global communication initiatives, partnering with the agency’s leadership around the world. She will continue to lead Ogilvy’s Business Development function in North America.
Lauren joined Ogilvy in 2004 and quickly rose through the ranks becoming the agency’s youngest New Business Director in 2008. She was appointed Chief Marketing Officer, North America in May 2010 and was recently named by Advertising Age Magazine as a “Woman to Watch.” Under her new business leadership, Ogilvy & Mather North America enjoyed great success, winning such brands as IKEA, Gap, Tabasco and others.
