GroupM launches performance marketing agency QUISMA into UK market

GroupM is today launching QUISMA, the leading European performance marketing provider, into the UK market under GroupM Interaction parallel to Xaxis.
QUISMA is already the dominant performance marketing agency in continental Europe with 11 offices in nine countries employing more than 150 staff with specialisms in all areas of digital marketing.
It works with more than 500 international clients and generates more than £100 million per year in billings.
Its UK office will be headed up by MD Ellie Edwards, formerly MD at Ad Network Hi-Media, who has been specifically appointed because of her extensive knowledge and experience in all areas of digital advertising.
QUISMA’s size and scale means that it can offer clients all areas of performance marketing on one platform ensuring that clients can optimise their marketing through the entire customer journey, from seeking initial information to the final purchase decision.
Its scale and heritage also means that QUISMA has invested heavily in its own product resulting in the creation of its bespoke technology platform – QUISMA Media Platform (QMP). This enables multichannel tracking, dynamic budget allocation, access to various inventory sources - such as ad exchanges, SSPs and ad networks - or direct access to premium inventory from major publishers and enhanced data privacy management.
Edwards’ main task will be to establish QUISMA as a leader within the performance marketplace, leveraging its pan-European footprint and proprietary technology and adapting it for the UK.

The business was established in Munich as a Search Engine Marketing agency in 2001 by Ronald Paul, now CEO, and Norman Nötzold now CTO. In the past eleven years Ronald has overseen the growth of QUISMA from an office of 30 to an international agency with more than 150 FTE`s. In March 2007 QUISMA was acquired by GroupM.
