Subway assigns U.S. digital duties to MediaCom

NEW YORK — MediaCom has been awarded digital media responsibilities in the U.S. for Subway, the media services agency announced today.

The new digital appointment makes MediaCom Subway’s agency of record for all media planning and buying in the U.S. Publicis Modem was the previous digital agency of record.

“We have decided to consolidate our digital media planning and buying at MediaCom for both integration and efficiency reasons,” said Tony Pace, CMO of Subway. “We have confidence in MediaCom’s management and believe they will help build upon our success in the digital space.”
