Two digital creative experts enhance Chicago’s Social@Ogilvy practice

Ogilvy & Mather’s Integrated Social Media Offering Adds Senior Leaders Lori Dicker and Liz Taylor to Focus on Creativity and Digital Innovation CHICAGO
— Social@Ogilvy, an Ogilvy & Mather practice connecting the agency’s social media experts globally to deliver solutions across all areas of business, today announced the appointment of two senior leaders to its Chicago operations. Lori Dicker joins Social@Ogilvy as executive vice president/group director and Liz Taylor joins the firm as senior vice president/executive creative director.
Reporting to Ogilvy PR/Chicago’s Office Head Nathan Friedman, Dicker and Taylor will lead the practice’s account and creative development, respectively, in the Midwest to deliver 360-degree integrated social campaigns for clients and pursue new business opportunities.

A seasoned expert in digital and social strategy, entertainment marketing, digital publicity, media & advertising, digital distribution and practice development, Lori Dicker brings over 10 years experience in developing social media programs for some of the entertainment industry’s largest and most well-known brands. Most recently, she worked at Moxie/ZenithOptimedia in Los Angeles where she was the SVP of Digital Media Innovation focused on entertainment and consumer goods. In this role she oversaw West Coast social marketing, division media strategy, innovation and media buying for multiple 20th Century Fox divisions including filmed entertainment, Fox Searchlight, Fox Consumer Products and Fox Home Entertainment.
Prior to Moxie/ZenithOptimedia, Dicker founded her own social media marketing agency, KARMA Media Labs, where she built brand awareness through social media marketing and digital word of mouth programs. KARMA led digital engagement programs for entertainment companies, brands and individuals including ATARI, LA Film Festival, CBS Films, WB Television and Skagen Denmark. She has also previously held leadership roles in social media strategy for Fanscape, The Walt Disney Company, Organic and Union Bank of California, among others.
Dicker is a member of the Social Media Ad Council (SMAC), Word of Mouth Marketing Association (WOMMA) and Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (ATAS). She received a BA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Liz Taylor takes on the role of SVP, executive creative director, a new position that will drive digital and creative program development for current and future clients across the Midwest compass. Taylor has recently worked with agencies such as Ogilvy & Mather, R/GA and Razorfish to develop and execute strategic digital programming for national and global consumer brands.
Prior to that, she held several senior-level creative leadership roles at TribalDDB and Element 79, working on a portfolio of consumer clients and business development initiatives. Taylor’s deep consumer expertise spans many functional areas and brands, including Pepsi, Wrigley, Gatorade, State Farm, Jones Apparel, Altoids and Budweiser. Her work has won numerous industry awards including recognition at Cannes, One Show, Communication Arts, Clio, Effie, AICP, New York Festival and London International. Taylor graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and the Portfolio Center in Atlanta.
