Seasoned Digital Manager to Expand Business in UK

LONDON — The Media Innovation Group (MIG), WPP’s media investment technology advisory firm, has appointed Mark Connolly as its new UK Managing Director to lead the expansion of its business in the UK and across Europe. The MIG provides technology-driven solutions and services that enable agencies and marketers to plan, execute and optimise media investments across all digital channels. Working closely with leading UK agencies such as Neo@Ogilvy, Unique Digital and Banner, the MIG leverages its proprietary technology infrastructure and custom integrations with best-of-breed partners in the ad technology space to help marketers reach their target audiences.

With over 20 years of sales and marketing experience, Mark Connolly will lead the MIG’s expansion from its successful core media investment optimisation business into the broader technology and data-driven digital marketing space. Prior to joining the MIG, Mark has held a number of senior roles in the UK media industry at GMTV, Sky TV, Virgin Media, Yahoo! and Adconion Media Group. In his last role at Adconion, Mark was Commercial Director and interim Managing Director with line management of the UK and Global Sales teams, as well as responsibility for the commercial strategy and direction of the business.
