MEC China appoints Chief Strategy Officer

Thomas Nolsoee joins MEC China

MEC China,, a leading media agency, today announced the appointment of Thomas Nolsoee as Chief Strategy Officer. Thomas will be based in Shanghai and report to Michelle Ko, President, MEC China. This is a new role for the agency.

His role will be to create strategic communications planning initiatives and programs in the region; promoting and developing MEC’s strategic planning product and offer across all clients in China.

With more than 13 years of experience in media, creative and planning, Thomas is a highly experienced communications specialist.

In 2001, Thomas established Denmark’s first dedicated communications and channel planning specialist unit at MEC, which has since grown and won many industry accolades. Thomas then moved to Hong Kong in 2005 to head up MEC’s communications and channel planning unit across Asia Pacific. He returned to Denmark in 2009 as Chief Strategy Officer. He has worked with blue chip clients such as Coca-Cola, SAB Miller and Sony Ericsson.
