Gareth Ellen joins OgilvyAction Asia Pacific from North America

SINGAPORE — Gareth Ellen joins OgilvyAction Asia Pacific to take up the post of Regional Planning Director having spent two years heading up digital in North America for OgilvyAction as well as running Mobile@Ogilvy across the Ogilvy Group there.

Based in Singapore, Gareth brings a wealth of experience to the region across shopper marketing and activation programs. He will be taking responsibility for helping clients utilise digital touch-points to create purchase behaviour.

I am excited to share best practices with colleagues and clients to leverage digital, making our traditional programmes more effective,” said Gareth Ellen, Regional Planning Director, OgilvyAction Asia Pacific.

Gareth has extensive FMCG experience working closely with retailers’ online and mobile platforms helping brands leverage opportunities to activate shoppers through their journey to and in store. His clients across categories have included Kimberly Clark, Unilever, NewBalance, TimeWarnerCable, American Express and Avon.
