Susan Steele heads up Human Resources at Millward Brown

NEW YORK — Millward Brown, a global leader in brand, media and communications research, today announces the appointment of Susan Steele as global chief human resources officer.

In her new role, Susan will be responsible for leading Millward Brown's human resources and talent agenda worldwide.

Susan takes over leadership of Millward Brown’s human resources from Elaine Holland, who has served as chief talent officer for the past six years and is moving to a new role leading the executive coaching initiatives at the company.

Susan joins Millward Brown from Deloitte, where she was chief learning officer for U.S. and India. Prior to this role, she was the chief human resources officer for the UK and Switzerland at Deloitte Consulting.

Beginning her career in financial services, Susan held leadership positions at JP Morgan Chase, HSBC, and the Philadelphia Stock Exchange.

Susan is a frequent speaker and author on talent management topics and earlier in her career was a guest lecturer at INSEAD, one of the world’s leading graduate business schools. She has also served as a UK selection panel member for the Fulbright Commission’s scholarship awards program.

Susan earned her Bachelor’s degree in Humanities and Business from Carnegie-Mellon University and completed the Accelerated Development Program at London Business School.
Susan is fluent in both English and French, and conversational in Italian.

As part of the new role, Susan will sit on Millward Brown’s global board and will be based in Millward Brown’s New York office.
