Jane Geraghty joins Landor Associates as Managing Director of the London office

— Landor Associates today announce that Jane Geraghty will be taking up the role of managing director. Jane will be responsible for leading the London office and its 75 staff; her start date is to be confirmed.
Jane comes to Landor Associates from Naked Communications where she was managing director for three years, presiding over a change in positioning which successfully made the agency more content-led.
Jane’s career began at Saatchi & Saatchi in 1992. From there, she spent a few years each at WCRS, McCann and APL/Lowe Worldwide. In 2000, Jane was hired by Ogilvy & Mather to move to the US and take charge of its Coca-Cola relationship. Following four successful years at Ogilvy she was hired by Kirshenbaum Bond & Partners, one of the top independent creative communications groups, to lead their advertising agency.
In 2007, Jane moved back to the UK for a new client side role as director of content development for ITV, however she was soon lured away to accept the challenge at Naked.
The appointment allows Cheryl Giovanonni, who led the London office as European president, to move into her new role as president, global key client relationships (KCRs).
During her tenure the London office was twice awarded the prestigious Agency of the Year award by Marketing Magazine, as well as a Gold in DBA Design Effectiveness Awards for Morrisons, an account which Cheryl spearheaded.

Kirsten Foster, senior director brand strategy for Landor, has been appointed executive director and will join the London office Executive Committee (ExCom). As a client partner she will take on the responsibilities for key client relationships such as BP and Ernst & Young.
Finally, Andrew Welch, executive director is to take up a new role as CEO of Y&R Brands (part of the WPP group) in South Africa in May.
Andrew’s progression to Y&R is demonstration of the impact he had whilst leading Landor’s relationship with Pick n Pay, South Africa’s largest and most iconic supermarket chain. So impressive was his contribution that the client CEO lobbied the chairman of Y&R Brands SA to bring Andrew on board to lead the agency.
