Media Trust and JWT London launch Campaigns for Good

On 16 June, Media Trust and advertising agency JWT London are launching ‘Campaigns for Good’ giving UK charities the chance to win expert help and advice for a communications campaign to run in 2011.

The winner will receive a planning session with award winning JWT London experts to help them build their brand strategy and develop ‘starter for ten’ campaign ideas. Media Trust and JWT London will also provide ongoing volunteer communications support, resources and training over three months.

To enter UK charities must provide information about their organisation and have a commitment to run a campaign this year. Entries should explain the campaign’s objectives, key messages, timescale, target audiences and expected results.

The best three campaign ideas will be shortlisted on 11 July and asked to present their idea to a panel from JWT London, Media Trust and Jeremy Bullmore of WPP, on 19 July. One winner will be announced and will receive an afternoon on 01 August with ten of the top directors of the Planning team at JWT London and continued support from Media Trust. The runners up will receive a personalised package of support from Media Trust.

Terms and conditions of Charity Challenge
To be eligible for this project, entrants must:
• have a specific campaign that they are commited to actioning this year
• have at least one named member of staff willing and able to be the project manager for this campaign.
• be available on 19 July for an interview/pitch meeting with JWT London. The winner must be available on 01 August to spend half a day with the JWT London planning team in London.
• have a turnover of between £250,000 and £5 million
• be a registered charity based in the UK
