MEC wins H&M’s media account in China and Hong Kong

, a leading media agency, today announces that MEC China has won H&M’s full service contract for mainland China and Hong Kong. The contract covers both media planning and buying including traditional media, OOH and digital.
MEC won the contract after a four-way pitch with Optimedia, PHD and MediaCom.
H&M is a Swedish retail-clothing company, famous for its fast-fashion clothing offerings for women, men, teenagers and children. It has more than 2,200 stores among 38 countries with around 87,000 employees. H&M opened their first store in Shanghai, China in 2007 and now has 41 stores among 15 cities.
