GPY&R Melbourne named AdNews Australian Agency of the Year

MELBOURNE — George Patterson Y&R Melbourne was crowned AdNews Agency of the Year in front of a record crowd at Sydney's Star City last night. 

The agency beat out tough competition to take out the annual awards heralding a spectacular return to form for the Y&R Brands agency.

GPY&R also took out Victorian Agency of the Year. 

The judges praised the agency’s great body of work in 2010, which included effective award winning and innovative work for clients such as Cadbury and Department of Defence, and its new business track record.

Y&R Brands CEO Russel Howcroft said:

“It’s a terrific endorsement of all the hard work the Melbourne team has done over the past couple of years. The staff at GPY&R are committed to their clients, their work and each other. We’ve fought our way back with great thinking; great work and made our clients happy. It’s an awesome effort.”
