Cohn & Wolfe’s Steve Bonsignore named to PRWeek’s “40 Under 40”

NEW YORK Steve Bonsignore, senior vice president and head of Cohn & Wolfe’s U.S. Sports Marketing Practice, has been named to PRWeek’s “40 Under 40,” an annual ranking of the communications industry’s 40 most accomplished PR professionals under the age of 40. His selection marks the fourth consecutive year that Cohn & Wolfe has been represented on the list.

Bonsignore, 33, founded Cohn & Wolfe’s sports marketing specialty in 2008 and has been instrumental in laying a strong foundation for growth. Over the course of his 11-year career at Cohn & Wolfe, he has driven brand-building initiatives that have set the standard for clients such as Nike, GM (Buick), Valvoline, Intel and 3M—often pushing brands into new spaces and new markets. His recent work to support the 2011 launch of the Buick Regal resulted in innovative campaigns such as “The Regal Remix,” which was celebrated with industry honors including a Gold SABRE in the Special Event category and a Silver Anvil Award of Excellence.
