Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide Bolsters New York practices with new hires

NEW YORK — Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide (Ogilvy PR), an integrated global communications firm, welcomes three new hires to the New York office in the Consumer and Digital practices. Parris Bowe and David Hanon join the Consumer Marketing group and Ryan Aynes is the newest addition to the 360⁰ Digital Influence Group

Bowe who joins Ogilvy PR as a senior vice president in the Consumer Marketing practice, brings a wide variety of experience to the consumer team, including marketing to women, corporate social responsibility, entertainment and lifestyle marketing, multicultural marketing, and social and digital marketing. Her professional client roster consists of several Fortune 500 companies including Proctor & Gamble and Kraft. Prior to Ogilvy PR, Bowe’s most recent agency experience included, Lippe Taylor and Edelman. Bowe has also previously worked for Sony Music Entertainment, a global recorded music company. Her award winning work has been honored with PRWeek Awards and PRSA Silver Anvil Awards.

She will report to Alyssa Garnick, Executive Vice President, NY Consumer Marketing Practice Director, who said, “We are continuing our commitment to bring the best talent to counsel our clients, and Parris’s enthusiasm for integrated communications and creativity with a purpose fits well with our approach to best-in-class consumer brand marketing PR.”

Bowe received her degree in English from Columbia University in New York, NY.

The New York office also added David Hanon as a vice president to the Consumer Marketing practice. Hanon joins from Waggener Edstrom Worldwide where he spent more than a decade counseling various clients in the consumer technology space including Microsoft, HTC, Plantronics, Toshiba and where he led a launch program for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Hanon’s work has received numerous industry awards including PRWeek and PSRA Silver and Bronze Anvil Awards.

Hanon received a BS in Rhetoric and Media Studies from Willamette University, and is on the Board of Directors for Incipio, a youth entrepreneurial non-profit.

An eight year veteran of digital and social media, Aynes joins as a vice president in the 360° Digital Influence group. Previously, Aynes served as Director of Social Media at the JAR Group where he developed the agency’s social media practice. Aynes agency tenure includes Mr. Youth, Fitango Inc., United for Good and You Go Serve, Inc.

Gemma Craven, Senior Vice President and head of New York’s 360° Digital Influence group, said, “Ryan is a welcome addition to our growing team. Aynes speaks both Spanish and Japanese and received his degree from the University of Toledo.
