Wunderman announces a new leadership organization in China

11 April, 2011

SHANGHAI — Stephane Faggianelli, president, Asia-Pacific region, Wunderman, unveils a new management organization in mainland China.

As an integral part of Wunderman’s strategy to enhance its services to global accounts and grow local businesses, it is bringing together its offices across China under one single management.

With immediate effect, Clement Yip has been promoted to the newly created role of managing director of Wunderman China.

Currently managing director of AGENDA Shanghai, Clement Yip will extend his responsibilities to supervise all Wunderman and AGENDA offices across China.

With four offices located in Beijing and Shanghai, the Wunderman network features a strong client portfolio; including global accounts such as Colgate, Ford, Land Rover, Microsoft and Nokia as well as a range of local engagements such as Disney, Estée Lauder, J&J, Gap, Pfizer, Starbucks and Wrigley.

Under the new organization, each agency will operate independently as per their specialty and existing management teams will now report to Clement Yip.

Stephane Faggianelli said, “Clement Yip has an excellent track record of building AGENDA Shanghai. He will provide strong leadership across our offices in China, with focus on expanding our digital capabilities and new business. China is a key market for us and we have a big ambition to grow further.”

Clement Yip will remain based in Shanghai and will report to Steve Hsia, (chief operating officer) and Stephane Faggianelli (president), Asia-Pacific region.

“Our four agencies in China have achieved an outstanding performance to date. I feel very fortunate to have such a talented team and we are now accelerating our plans to expand our footprint to the next level; including new capabilities, additional offices, acquisitions and partnerships,” said Clement Yip.
