Mindshare wins USD $2.5 billion L’Oreal business in China

CHINA — After three months of fierce competition in the largest advertising pitch ever to take place in China, Mindshare has been appointed the media agency of record for L’Oreal. L’Oreal is the world’s leading cosmetics company with USD $23 billion in global sales, and with a projected USD $2.5 billion media spend in China for 2010 (Source: CTR), is one of the largest advertisers in the country.

The decision effectively consolidates the entire brand portfolio in China, which includes iconic beauty brands L’Oreal Paris, Lancome, Maybelline New York and Kerastase.
