Randy Rinaldi joins Grey Group Indonesia as Executive Creative Director

— Grey Group Indonesia has appointed industry veteran Randy Rinaldi as Executive Creative Director. Reporting to Agus Sudradjat, President Director, Grey Group Indonesia, Rinaldi will work in close partnership with Ali Shabaz, Chief Creative Officer, Grey Group Singapore, Indonesia and Thailand.
Sudradjat says, “Randy’s appointment reinforces our commitment to deliver Famously Effective communications for our clients. He comes with tremendous experience across categories covering local, regional and global markets, having worked with clients Procter & Gamble, Nestle, HSBC, LG, Samsung, Telkomsel, Mitsubishi Motors and Gudang Garam, just to name a few.”
He adds that Rinaldi has a stellar track record to his name in terms of awards won and client relationships, as well as having established himself within the creative industry as an unconventional thinker and an individual who always delivers beyond the expected.
Shabaz says, “With 14 years of solid industry experience, Randy’s skills and maturity will provide added value to the agency’s creative product. His arrival will make a significant difference to the office’s creative goals and will help raise the bar on the work for our clients.”

Rinaldi will oversee creative duties across the agency’s large roster of clients which includes leading companies like Procter & Gamble, GlaxoSmithKline, AXA, Pfizer, Telkom, Mayora and Orang Tua Group.
Rinaldi has contributed to path-breaking campaigns such as the public service campaign entitled ‘Mud Flow’ which won a Gold Spike at Spikes Asia 2010 and which is currently shortlisted for London International Awards 2010. He has also won a host of other international and regional awards like Cannes Lions, New York Festivals and AdFest. In addition, Rinaldi has won numerous local awards throughout his career in competitions like Citra Pariwara and Cakram Awards.
Born and bred in Indonesia, Rinaldi has a deep understanding of the local scene. He has judged at various industry award shows such as New York Festivals, AdFest, Pinasthika Ad Festival and Cakram Awards, and also regularly contributes as a speaker at several creative platforms, from Pinasthika Ad Festival, Bedah Iklan Asia Pacific to seminars organised by the communications industry.
Rinaldi was previously Executive Creative Director at Publicis, and was Creative Director at JWT and Leo Burnett, all based in Indonesia.
