21 October, 2010
Burson-Marsteller Australia, a leading Australian public relations and communications consultancy, today announced that after a competitive pitch process for sanofi-aventis Consumer Healthcare, that they have won the Cenovis Chill pill business.
Cenovis has 50 years of heritage in Australia and is the most purchased nutraceutical brand in major supermarket chains. Burson-Marsteller has been recruited to promote the launch of their latest product, the Cenovis Chill pill, which helps to relieve everyday stress.
David Anderson, Head of Marketing, sanofi-aventis Consumer Healthcare, explains why Burson-Marsteller was selected as the winning agency.
“Burson-Marsteller demonstrated both their knowledge of the nutraceutical space and a passion for the brand. Coupled with a strong creative response to the brief, we felt that they were the right team for the brand,” said Mr. Anderson.
Brian West, Market Leader at Burson-Marsteller, believes the recent win is a testament to the ongoing relationship Burson-Marsteller has with sanofi-aventis in Australia.
“Australians continue to take a growing interest in their health, and this includes the use of natural health supplements. We are excited to be working with the Cenovis team as we look to increase the range of options for consumers who want to improve their day to day wellbeing,” said Mr. West.
The integrated PR campaign will extend the recent radio ad campaign that ran across the Austereo network, and featured an on-air promotion with Hamish and Andy, into TV, print, radio and online channels. The campaign will aim to link the Cenovis Chill pill to the increasing range of stressful occasions that Australians encounter every day and connect the product to the existing social vernacular of taking a “chill pill”….so now you really can “take a chill pill”!
Work on the campaign has commenced and will continue into 2011. About Burson-Marsteller
