Jon Kaiser named new Digital Director of Maxus North America

— Jon Kaiser, a media agency executive with extensive experience in digital communications, today was named Digital Director for Maxus North America, the fast-growing GroupM media and marketing services agency.
The announcement was made by Maxus North America CEO Louis Jones, who said Kaiser will oversee all the agency’s digital communications offerings in the U.S. and Canada.
Kaiser’s responsibilities include developing and articulating the agency’s digital communications vision to clients and prospects, as well as directing the integration of digital capabilities with other agency services. He will also play a key role in creating and implementing new strategies and services for Maxus overall. Kaiser will be based in New York and will report to Jones. His appointment is effective immediately.
Maxus is one of four global WPP media and marketing agency networks within GroupM, along with MEC, MediaCom, and Mindshare.

In his most recent agency post, Kaiser served as VP, Director of Connection Planning at GreySF in San Francisco where he oversaw an integrated planning team. Earlier in his career, he held senior management positions with agencies including Digitas, Modem Media, and Young & Rubicam in New York, where he built the agency's first dedicated digital media team in 1998.
During his career Kaiser also has worked with a wide range of multinational marketers and leading Fortune100/500 clients, including Microsoft, HP, Sony (Consumer Electronics), United Airlines, Dr Pepper/7UP, U.S. Army, Accenture, Symantec, Michelin, Oracle, SanDisk, and Warner Bros., among others.
