JWT MENA wins ‘Network of the Year‘ award at Dubai Lynx

— In a remarkable display of pan-Arab strength, JWT MENA confirmed their status as the number one creative agency in the region by scooping the coveted “Network of The Year” award at the Dubai Lynx advertising festival’s gala night.
With 6 of JWT’s offices work shortlisted, the agency entered the festival as a strong contender for the region’s highest accolade; particularly with a total number of finalists almost double that of the second-placed network. A final total of 6 gold, 7 silver and 14 bronze awards, distributed across offices in Beirut, Cairo, Dubai, Kuwait, Riyadh and Tunis, confirmed the agency’s status as the undisputed leader in the industry.
JWT’s winning work was also widely spread across categories, with clients as diverse as HSBC, Johnson & Johnson, Le Mall, Vodafone, Mercedes and Nestle all being recognized during a glitzy awards ceremony at Dubai’s Palladium centre.
Commenting on the win, Ramsey Naja, the network’s Chief Creative Officer, was lavish in his praise of the talent at the agency’s disposal. “It’s a talent business after all and when that talent teams up, collaborates, cooperates and works as one regardless of distance and boundaries, it cannot but be greater than the sum of its parts”, he said, “I’m humbled by what this collective power can do.”
It is the second big win this year for JWT, after its Asia-Pacific network also won the “Network of The Year” award at the Spikes Asia advertising festival.
