Kinetic announces senior management promotions

Kinetic Worldwide has promoted its Global Chief Operating Officer, Steve Ridley, to Global Chief Executive Officer. Ridley takes over from Eric Newnham, who steps up to Global Chairman of the company. Ridley takes over CEO duties one year after his promotion to COO, and will be driving the strategy and vision for Kinetic going forward.

The moves come amidst a series of senior management developments over the past year and reflect the onset of a new era for Kinetic and its emphasis as the global leader in understanding how brands can connect with people’s lifestyles and the environments they use.

Steve Ridley commented: “The next phase of Kinetic’s development will be a move away from an Out of Home specialist positioning and an affirmation of our transition towards an environment and lifestyle offering. This very much reflects our global objectives to be market leader in every territory that we exist for both the strategic planning and implementation of all forms of lifestyle experiences and media environments.”

Eric Newnham added: “There have been some necessary management changes over the past year or so. Steve Ridley’s promotion to Global CEO reflects his vision for taking Kinetic forward as a dynamic communications agency in markets across the globe.”
