Daisy Thomas joins Hill & Knowlton's specialist Healthcare team

Hill & Knowlton has further strengthened its specialist Healthcare & Wellbeing team by appointing Daisy Thomas as Account Director. She joins from the Human Tissue Authority (HTA) where she was Head of Communications.
Daisy joins the expanding UK Healthcare team where she will focus on healthcare communications and public affairs work, alongside the senior team, including Healthcare Public Affairs specialist, Corinne Pluchino, as well as Jessica Walsh and Head of Healthcare, John Gisborne.
Joining H&K from the Human Tissue Authority (HTA), Daisy was previously Head of Communications and ran a broad range of communications programmes for the past 4.5 years. At the HTA she had a vast responsibility including developing and implementing external communications strategies to support its corporate reputation, and developing relationships with stakeholders including policy makers, health professionals, patient groups, parliamentarians, the public and media.
Prior to this Daisy worked for The Stroke Association where her responsibilities included developing strategies to communicate to key stakeholders (internal and external) and running campaigns to raise awareness of stroke.
