New site wins two ‘Best in Class’ Awards from IMA, and ‘Honors’ in the iNova AwardsNEW YORK
— Cohn & Wolfe’s brand new website (www.cohnwolfe.com), just three months old and still with that new website smell, has won ‘Best in Class’ in the ‘Marketing’ and Public Relations’ categories from the Interactive Media Awards (IMA), and received ‘Honors’ in the ‘Professional Services’ category in MerComm’s iNova Awards program.
The IMAs (http://www.interactivemediaawards.com
) recognize the highest standards of excellence in website design and development. The ‘Best in Class’ award is the highest honor bestowed by the IMAs, and in their own words: “represent the very best in planning, execution and overall professionalism.”
To win, Cohn & Wolfe’s site achieved high marks in five judging criteria: design; content; feature functionality; usability; and standards compliance & cross-browser compatibility. Cohn & Wolfe’s overall score of 493 (out of 500) automatically qualifies it for consideration in the IMA's 2010 Top 10 Website of the Year list.
MerComm, Inc.’s iNova Awards (http://www.mercommawards.com/inova.htm
) recognize excellence in corporate websites. MerComm was founded in 1987 to advance the arts and sciences of communications and establish and promote high standards of individual and collective achievement. The organization sponsors six award programs representing the multiple disciplines involved in professional communications.
Launched September 2010, the new www.cohnwolfe.com
serves as a showcase for Cohn & Wolfe’s culture of innovation and commitment to insight-driven creativity. Featuring seven distinct and entertaining “stop frame animation” videos and a respectively irreverent tone, the site strikes an ideal balance between entertainment and information that in the process serves as a genuine expression of Cohn & Wolfe’s unique personality.
