Bates 141 appointed agency-of-record for Vietnam Post

HONG KONG — Bates 141 was appointed the agency-of-record for VNPT (Vietnam Post and Telecommunications), the first international agency to secure the state-owned telecommunications company's account and drive forward its growth.

Bates 141 beat four other agencies including Grey, Lowe, Phibious and a local agency to secure this contract.

It will be responsible for all strategic planning and creative development moving forward.

Tue Nguyen, MD of Bates 141 Vietnam, said, "We won due to our strong creative idea and solid strategic thinking and also our past experience."

He added, "Vietnam Post is a household name and ubiquitous brand in Vietnam, so this win is a great boost to our portfolio."
This is the first time that Vietnam Post is partnering with an international advertising agency.
